“ We came in for lunch and saw their specials on the back of the menu book. Looked like good deals. We all 3 ended up ordering the 3 piece fish and chips. They served Cod with a thin batter. Each piece was excellent and large enough for a decent meal. Fries were nicely seasoned and fried to our liking. The staff was friendly and attentive. I would come back here if I'm in the area. Ambiance was welcoming and decor followed their seafood theme. Highly recommended. ”
“ I'll save time regarding the food portion of the review as well established that they have the best fish and chips and great selection. This is clearly a local favorite as well as the best place for out of towners like me to get their fish and chips fixed. It is now top of my list. But what I really appreciate it about the place was sitting at the bar and both TVs were broadcasting women's sports. This is a rare find and I really appreciated seeing that today! I've been to restaurants and bars where they will not change on request a TV that's showing a routine men's event for a women's national championship. Thank you for supporting and broadcasting women's sports! ”

“ What a gem. We were in Seattle and decided on Wally's Chowder. Service was good and I wish I remembered her name. She was working at the bar. Very nice and personable and always checked up on us. Food: Mozarella Sticks Halibut Filet Side Pasta Chowder Bread Bowl Kids Chicken Crown Royal and Skinny Margarita My daughter devoured the bread bowl and my grand kids loved their chicken, pasta and mozarella sticks. I also enjoyed the Halibut. Nice and light. I'd definitely return again when I'm in the area. ”
“ Upon reading yelp reviews we chose Wally's chowder house. The food was just the reviews stated... Excellent. The clam chowder was 5 star. My salad was fresh and crispy. Bacon cheese burger fries came freshly prepared and hot. Burger was huge and generosly portion. Our waiter Sean was great with every detail With personal service. Plenty of parking and bar. Loved the tables and seating with tables outdoor in rear of the restaurant. Thanks for yelp reviews! Oh and try their cream pie and in season fruit crisp. “ Our family of seven came in Friday at 6:30 pm. We had a wait of about 30 minutes but the feast was worth the wait! We ordered the quart of white clam chowder which was served family style. It was so delicious! I shared with my daughter the chicken fettuccine as it was big enough to serve a small army. The blackberry pie was delicious too! If I lived here, I would come every week! Staff is friendly and helpful. I love the beautiful flowers all around the restaurant. ”
“ We were hungry and had some time to kill before arriving at the airport so we thought we'd try this place. Thank goodness we did! Cute and casual ambiance, friendly staff and quick service. But the food... SO GOOD! GET THE WHITE CLAM CHOWDER! There. I said it. My husband and I shared a cup and my son got the bread bowl which came with a side salad. The bread for his bowl, SO GOOD! Halibut was fresh so we got the Halibut & Chips 3pc to share. We should have ordered the 5pc because the quality was so awesome we didn't want to share after all! lol Try this place, it won't disappoint. ”

It is probably some of the best chowder ever. If you are considering visiting this place. Do it! We were here in January. It was freezing! But the chowder and super hot food warmed us up in no time. Plus I found that the vent for the heater was under our table so I made sure I was right on top of it haha! We were given a complimentary cup of chowder being it was our first time, tourist, and probably looking like we have been freezing. Everyone loves free! And it helps with good reviews. For food, we ordered: -Salmon & Chips (3 pcs) Comes with fries and the fries tasted great. A bit crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Salmon had a crisp outer layer and was juicy on the inside. It was definitely enough for me. -Halibut Tacos My friend absolutely loved the tacos. It came with clam chowder on the side. She kept raving about how the halibut was so tender like a "fall off the bone" kind. She already wants to come back and bring her daughter here to try. Overall, will come back again. Great seafood to start the morning or end the night off. ”
